Our Critical Care units are notable for their team-oriented culture and commitment to excellence in high patient outcomes. Nurses here are empowered to make decisions in their practice, engage in Nurse Practice Councils, and advocate for safety and high quality care.
ICU
Recently honored with the Beacon Award for Critical Care Excellence, our 16-bed ICU features a wide range of complex cardiac, pulmonary, neuro and multi-system patient population. A nurse educator is on the unit to provide mentoring, support and career growth development plans, along with two intensivists that care for our critical patients along with our highly integrated interdisciplinary team members. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:2.
PCU
The Celebration Health 24-bed PCU has received the highest patient satisfaction scores of all of our inpatient units, thanks to an incredibly skilled and dedicated team. Our PCU also boasts above-average to excellent scores in nurse satisfaction as related to job enjoyment in this culturally diverse unit with a 1:4 or 1:5 nurse to patient ratio.
