Medical Oncology
Our 39-bed Medical Oncology unit provides chemotherapy and symptom management for the adult oncology patient population. This unit operates at a 1:5 nurse to patient ratio.
Surgical/GYN Oncology
Our team is specifically trained to meet the complex physical and psychosocial needs of oncology patients during the post operative period. This 39-bed unit specializes in care of the GYN Oncology population during all phases of their disease process. The Oncology Progressive Care area provides care for patients with an oncology diagnosis that require upper level monitoring and care from Critical Care trained nurses to include high dose chemotherapy, cardiac drips, and respiratory management for the PCU-level patient. The Nurse to patient ratio on this unit is 1:4 or 1:5.
Bone Marrow Transplant Unit
Our team is dedicated to complex specialized care of critically ill, adult and pediatric peripheral blood stem cell and bone marrow transplant, leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma patients. Chemotherapy is also provided on the 16-bed unit. The nurse to patient ratio on this unit is 1:3.
