    16 to 72 beds. Our ED nurses use LEAN methods to increase overall productivity, collectively treating more than 326,000 patients per year. In fact, many of our locations now allow for ED patients to go Door-to-Doc
    in under 60 minutes.

  • Med/Surg
    Med/Surg nursing at Florida Hospital offers the advantages of full team support, flexible scheduling, breakthrough medical programs and visionary leadership - all within a caring spiritual environment.   • Surgical Services
    Over 50,000 surgeries are performed at Florida Hospital each year, including a growing number of advanced minimally invasive and robotic procedures. Our perioperative nurses serve a diverse patient population, both in general surgery and complex sub specialties such as: cardiovascular surgery, peripheral vascular surgery, orthopaedic surgery (including total joint replacement), neurosurgery, ophthalmology, orthognathic surgery, plastic surgery, micro and limb reimplantation surgery, urology surgery, kidney transplantation, gynecology and otolaryngology.
  • Oncology
    The Florida Hospital Cancer Institute treats more newly diagnosed cases than any other program in the state. In fact, we’re the third-largest cancer program in the nation, with an oncology nursing team ranked among the top 20% in the country for care and compassion (Gallup). We’ve participated in more than 680 advanced clinical trials over the years, and thus, have been able to give our patients access to some of the most innovative treatment options in the world.
  • Women & Children’s
    We’ve got some healthy growth underway with the expansion of the Dr. P. Phillips Baby Place at Winter Park Memorial Hospital and the 2010 opening of our new tower at the Disney Children’s Pavilion.
