Far from its humble beginnings as a 15-bed facility in 1941, Florida Hospital East Orlando is now an innovative local leader that fills a vital need in a fast-growing area. A recent 200,000 square-foot expansion project upgraded the hospital to 224 beds, with a spacious patient tower and 80 new private rooms designed to enhance the holistic care experience.

Each room is conveniently located off of a centralized nurses' station, with a smaller nurses' station immediately outside of the patient room. This unique floor plan allows nurses and physicians to more easily document and track progress over the course of an inpatient stay. Today’s Florida Hospital East Orlando also features increased outpatient resources, making it easier for more people to access the care they need.
