Continuing Training and Education
Numerous continuing education and training programs are offered onsite, free of charge, with a wide variety of computer-based learning modules readily available. Even certified contact hours can be gained through our NetLearning application. Florida Hospital also reimburses attendance at off-site continuing education sessions related to your career growth and development.
Employee Awards and Recognition
Florida Hospital’s performance evaluation program recognizes employee contributions on several levels and creates visible opportunities for top performers to realize their impact on company success. Approximately 10% of Florida Hospital employees are recognized as Models of Excellence for their role modeling of core values and job standards. These employees receive an additional pay increase and are recognized for their exemplary performance by our senior management team.
Bonuses
As part of our Performance Excellence Program, employees receive a bonus based on prior year earnings if the organization meets financial goals. This bonus is paid in February, in recognition of each employee’s contributions to the success of the company. Employees are rewarded for their role in achieving patient satisfaction goals with an additional bonus paid in June.
Annual Merit Raises
All employees meet with their supervisors to discuss specific accomplishments achieved over the past year and create development plans for the upcoming year. Based on their achievement of standards relating to their job and to the Florida Hospital core values, the employee receives a merit increase to their base rate of pay.
Employee Anniversary Recognition
Employees and volunteers who have worked at Florida Hospital for 15 years or more are recognized for their service with an evening offsite banquet in their honor. Employees are also recognized for five and 10 years of service with a catered banquet at their respective Florida Hospital campus. All service award recipients also receive special gifts for their dedication to our work.
Referral Program and Bonus
We support a family-like environment and encourage our employees to refer family and friends to become a part of the Florida Hospital team. Referral bonus awards may be offered, with payouts varying by departmental need.
